Legal Aspects of Tactical Medicine

This course is a series of two videos that are mandatory to watch prior to beginning any Tactical Trauma Care or Field Trauma Care programs from CTOMS. These videos define the “tactical environment” as we use it within our courses, and how it differs from non-tactical environments, including why the casualty approach needs to be different. We also cover the medical legal structure so it is clear how medical direction and scope of practice, among other things, function to allow a legal extension of advanced level care into the field.
