Prerequisites:
CUF Level 1 – Carbine (or equivalent experience)

Course Content:

  • Review of Care Under Fire (CUF) Doctrine and Threat Priorities
  • Self Management During Mixed Weapons Engagements
  • Hemorrhage Control and Medical Interventions Under Variable Fire Conditions
  • Movement, Use of Cover, and Casualty Positioning with Diverse Weapon Systems
  • Self Extraction Techniques Under Sustained or Suppressive Fire
  • Communication & Coordination and Dispatch & Command During Medical Interventions
  • Transitioning from CUF to Tactical Field Care in Dynamic Environments

Course Description:
This course builds upon CUF Level 1 by introducing casualty care challenges associated with mixed weapon systems and evolving threat conditions. Training focuses on maintaining medical effectiveness while operating in complex engagements involving varying weapons, terrain, and operational tempo.
