Advanced Emergency Bleeding Control

Advanced Emergency Bleeding Control builds on the basic course, providing a deeper knowledge of the mechanisms at play in hemostasis - clotting mechanisms, bleeding diathesis, and the concepts of trauma induced coagulopathy. This Knowledge will allow for more informed decisions regarding treatment of hemorrhage and shock, particularly in prolonged casualty care. The course also describes the use of the Emergency Military Tourniquet and tourniquet release and removal.

Access to the course is for 3 years from the course start date.
