    Hypothermia is a broad and complicated topic that is essential in the repertoire of any serious care provider or individual operating in an outdoor environment. In this video series, guest instructor and world-renowned hypothermia expert Dr. Gordon Giesbrecht comprehensively covers the topic of hypothermia at the foundational level. Dr. Giesbrecht will walk you through temperature regulation and physiology of the human body, classifications of hypothermia, heat loss prevention, and basic level treatment of the hypothermic casualty.
