This course bundle has been compiled specifically for industrial workers and is intended to fill a critical training gap. Unlike First Aid, this training package provides the knowledge and skills for effective response to major trauma casualties. In an industrial setting such casualties can be caused by vehicle or heavy machinery accidents, explosions, falls, cold exposure etc. In the bundle, students are taught how to approach and asses casualties, prioritize their treatments, and provide life saving interventions such as stopping major bleeds, maintaining airways, and preventing or addressing hypothermia. The bundle includes a course on hypothermia and one module on cold water submersion and survival.

See also our Free Opioid Overdose Management course to supplement your abilities and combat the growing tragedy of overdoses.

The knowledge and skills taught in these courses were largely developed in war over the last two decades, where it was found that the use of these interventions on the battlefield greatly increased the survival rate of wounded soldiers. Applied to the industrial context, in the critical moments after an incident even non-medic personal can save lives.

Access to the courses is for 3 years from the course start date.
