Quickie Descender™

Description

The Quickie Descender™ is the unique descent control device for TRACE™ Systems that allows comprehensive capability in the worlds smallest and lightest micro rope system. It is an auto-locking descent control device designed specifically for use with the TRACE™ Systems rope. The QD™ incorporate force reduction through slippage at a specific force window.

The QD™ is used for the following operations:

• Rappelling
• Lowering
• Rope ascension
• Progress capture device (PCD)
• Belaying a lead climber
• Belaying a second climber

Attention: The Quickie Descender™ (QD™) is only sold as a component of a TRACE™ Systems kit as it can only be used with authorized TRACE™ Systems rope. If any rope other than an authorized TRACE™ Systems rope is used in the QA™ it may create dangerous conditions and is not supported by any testing.
