The AAJT-S is a next-generation hemorrhage control device engineered for situations where standard limb tourniquets can’t be applied. Building on the proven performance of the original AAJT, the stabilized model incorporates improved materials and an intuitive tightening system to deliver faster, more consistent occlusion under operational conditions.
Approved for use in the inguinal, axillary, and pelvic regions, the AAJT-S is the only junctional tourniquet cleared for all three anatomical sites—and the only one with documented lifesaving outcomes from both upper and lower junctional hemorrhage.
Its broad, stabilized pressure plate ensures even pressure distribution and reliable occlusion, giving medics accuracy and confidence in placement. The device has been validated to maintain efficacy during patient movement, confined space rescue, drags, and hasty extraction, making it ideally suited for both military and civilian trauma response.
