Tactical Trauma Care (TTC) Level 1 – Operator

Prerequisites:

• For law enforcement personnel, first responders, and tactical operators.
• Included: CTOMS Academy Basic Tactical Care Provider

Content:

• Introduction and Safety Brief
• Threat Assessment and Scene Safety (WTF)
• Basic Tactical Hemorrhage Control
• Immediate Life-Saving Interventions in Austere Environments
• Medical Equipment Familiarization and Use
• Self-Aid and Buddy-Aid Techniques
• Casualty Extraction and Movement
• Prioritizing Care While Maintaining Operational Effectiveness

This course provides operators with foundational tactical trauma care skills, emphasizing rapid, effective interventions in high-threat environments. Students will learn repeatable techniques to reduce preventable deaths during active engagements and develop confidence in managing casualties under pressure. Practical exercises reinforce both individual and team-based care in realistic scenarios.
