  • Aid Climbing Techniques
  • Tactical Aspects of Technical Climbing
  • Class 2, 3 and 4 Ground Systems:
    • Fixed Lines
    • Short Roping
  • Class 5 Ground Systems
    • Climbing Sequence and Rigging
  • Rescue an injured/gripped “client”.
  • Rescue an injured second climber.
  • Rescue an injured lead climber.

Regardless of whether you are an experienced climber or have never climbed, you will benefit and learn from this course.  We start at the beginning but ignore the sport climbing aspects.  Rather, we focus on a tactical/work climbing approach to the instruction.  Even if the student is well versed in sport or traditional climbing, it will likely be a majority of new information and skills.  The course covers the tactical climber’s role in facilitating movement through complex terrain of groups as small as a sniper team, up to large formations, such as a platoon, company, or battalion sized element.  The entire course utilizes TRACE™ Systems to maintain an minimal weight and pack volume for the capability.
