Prerequisites:
- Nil (Designed for law enforcement personnel using service carbines)
- Reccommended: CTOMS Academy Direct Threat Care (DTC) / Indirect Threat Care (IDTC)
Course Content:
- Course Introduction and Safety Brief
- Direct Threat Care Principles
- Rapid Threat Assessment and Scene Safety
- Immediate Hemorrhage Control Under Fire
- Tactical Carbine Handling While Providing Self Care
- Use of Cover and Extraction Techniques
- Team Coordination for Single-Operator Scenarios
Course Description:
This course focuses on the integration of direct threat care with carbine operations. Students will develop practical skills for managing casualties while engaging or maneuvering under threat, ensuring both personal and team effectiveness.
